Meet the Owner
Hopkins Custom Roofing was founded in 2020 by Jon Hopkins, a native East Texan who has been doing business in Carthage since 2009. Jon served six years in the United States Air Force as a Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) instructor, where he learned the value of discipline, service, and attention to detail.
After completing his service, Jon continued building community-focused businesses by opening East Texas’ first CrossFit gym, CrossFit Citadel. He operated the gym for eight years before transitioning into roofing and construction in 2017. His leadership and commitment to integrity shape the foundation of Hopkins Custom Roofing.
Jon works alongside Jeff, also a native East Texan, who brings years of service-driven experience to the company. After a decade in the Dallas restaurant industry and starting his family there, Jeff returned home to Tyler to serve the East Texas community. When Jeff isn’t helping homeowners protect their property, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and five children.
